Registration forms are due January 9, 2015.
The NE Conference Ministry Exploration Summit is an opportunity to learn about the different paths of ministry from experienced lay ministers, clergy, mentors, and others. This event will especially benefit those in the early stages of candidacy or just beginning to discern his or her call to ministry. Whether considering lay, licensed or ordained ministry, all are invited and encouraged to join the summit. Mentors are also encouraged to participate. Mentor training will be available for new mentors.
The Ministry Exploration Summit is a component of the mentoring of ministry candidates and also fulfills the requirement of Orientation to Ministry which the 2012 Book of Discipline requires for all persons in licensed or ordained ministry. Please note that participation in a Ministry Exploration Summit is required to become a certified candidate.
