Worship
Worship and prayer are the focal points of our church family life. In worship and prayer, we are drawn closer to God and we are empowered with wisdom and strength to go forth and live as Christians in our community and in the world.
During the regular church year, we offer several different opportunities for worship during the regular weekend services. The first is our Celebration of the Word service at 8:30 am. This service follows a traditional order of worship.
The second worship opportunity is our MOSAIC service at 10:30 am which features our praise team, In Good Faith, and our choir. MOSAIC is an acronym for Meaningful, Ordered, Spiritual, Artistic, Inspired Church. This service offers ample opportunity for praise through the many creative gifts our church community has to offer. The MOSAIC service also includes a Children's Message and, following that, children have the opportunity to participate in an extended session of Sunday School featuring our popular LIVE BIG curriculum!
Both worship services are held in the sanctuary and will celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month.
Additional opportunities for worship are provided at special times, such as Christmas and Easter and during special events.
Nursery Care for children ages 3 and younger is provided by our paid nursery caregiver, Kirsten Owen. Kirsten has training in Early Childhood Development and is infant/toddler CPR and First Aid certified. She is an energetic, compassionate, and creative caregiver who provides a safe environment for infants and toddlers allowing their parents to worship comfortably. During our regular worship schedule, Kirsten is available in the nursery from 8:30am - 12:30pm.
