Programs at UMC Brunswick

United Methodist Women:  The UMW meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7 pm, except in January and February when there is no meeting.  Throughout the year opportunities are provided for learning, service, and fellowship.  All women are welcome to attend.

United Methodist Men:  The UMM meets on the 1st Saturday of every month, September through June, for breakfast and discussion at 8 am.  All men are welcome to attend.

Youth Fellowship:  A time for youth to engage in a variety of activities including opportunities for learning, service, and fellowship.  Meeting time TBA.

Loyalty Club:  The Loyalty Club is open to all women of the church.  It meets at 11 am on the 1st Tuesday of every month, September through June, for a business meeting and a program or activity.

Public Suppers:  On the second Saturday of the month, October through May, the church hosts public baked bean and casserole suppers to raise funds for capital projects and missions.  There are two sittings, the first at 5 pm and the second at 6 pm.  We are always looking for donations of casseroles and desserts, as well as volunteers to set-up, cook, clean, and serve.  Of course, all are welcome to attend for a great meal!  For more information or to make a reservation, please contact the church office at office@umcbrunswick.org or call 207-725-2185.

Church Library:  The congregation maintains and operates a lending library for both adults and children.  The adult's library is open during office hours (8:30-3:00, M-F).  The children's library is open during the school year on Sunday mornings.  Please come browse our excellent selection!

Annual Events

Yard Sale:  This all-church event takes place in August each year and is a fund-raiser for current expenses.  We welcome your contributions of time and treasures at specific times.  Please contact the church office for more information at 207-725-2185 or office@umcbrunswick.org

Plant and Bake Sale:  This all-church event takes place in late May and is a fund-raiser for current expenses.  Volunteers and donations of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, and baked/canned goods are always welcomed.

Christmas Fair:  A popular all-church event, it takes place annually on the last Saturday in November.  Crafts, gift items, Children's Gift Room, baked goods, plants, a visit from Santa, music, and a cafe add to the excitement of the day!  Volunteers are always needed and welcomed.  Proceeds from the fair are used to offset current expenses.

Special Events:  At times throughout the year, the Sunday School, choir, In Good Faith praise band, and various other groups offer special functions for fellowship.  Please check the website often for special announcements concerning these events.
